Letter from the VP Recruitment

My name is Holly Rapp, and I am the Vice President of Recruitment for the Alpha Omega chapter at Duquesne University. As Vice President of Recruitment, it has been my pleasure to lead our chapter members to meet and welcome new sisters into our family. Within Alpha Gam, we have strengthened our values in friendship and sisterhood, as well as with our community and philanthropic focuses. We also highly prioritize our academic success, with our chapter being recognized on our campus as one of the most highly esteemed academically. As Vice President of Recruitment, I work along with other members of the Executive Council to showcase all of the aspects that Alpha Gam has to offer. These include but are not limited to life-long friendships, strong bonds and connections, and building a large network that goes beyond just our chapter. 2024 Spring Recruitment brought in the largest pledge class our chapter has witnessed in many years, welcoming 31 new amazing members into our sisterhood. We are so happy to bring our many new members into our chapter, and they are already contributing great efforts and establishing genuine connections within the chapter.Recruitment is a time where us active members devote our time to really showing potential new members all that we have to offer. We are dedicated to providing a positive and warm experience to those who are going through the process. We would encourage anyone who is thinking about going through Recruitment to do so, and to experience what we have to offer at Alpha Gam. For those who are going through Recruitment in Spring 2025, we are already so excited to get to meet you and to showcase our lives within Alpha Gam to you.
